SYNOPSIS: Centralized around the turbulent marriage of Nick and Mabel Longhetti. Mabel seeks affection from her hard working husband who is often working late and forgetting plans. The more she tries to act the role of the perfect wife and mother for his attention, the more she seemingly stumbles. Her misguided actions are perceived by her friends and family as a form of lunacy. They commit her for 6 months of psychiatric evaluation and electroshock therapy only to find she returns home more scarred than before.
